Welcome to e-riders!
Thanks to all the riders who made e-Riders such a motorcycling success in 2008, especially Mark Cooper, Richard Murcott, Martin Lenart and Mark Mackaness for organising tours.
Who are e-Riders?
- a group of experienced riders from Wellington (New Zealand), thats who. Membership of e-Riders is by invitation only.
We enjoy Sunday breakfast runs to the Wairarapa, good company at the pub and stay at decent hotels on our trips away.
Glenn, Mark, Richard and Lynda are the organisers.

The Any Fine Sunday Rule
The 2009 calendar includes set dates for breakfast rides but e-Riders ventured over the Hill almost every Sunday during 2008 so don’t wait for a set date if you want to get the bike out and ride with some company.

Sundays in November to April - Assemble 8.30 a.m. at the carpark of the Rimutaka Sportsbar, next to Caltex Rimutaka, 1193 Fergusson Drive/SH2, Upper Hutt to meet other e-Riders for a ride to wherever.

Sundays in May to October - Assemble 9.30 a.m.

Please note that The Any Fine Sunday Rides are now on Summer hours i.e. starts at 8.30 a.m. Any Fine Sunday means anything remotely rideable. These rides are very popular.

Again this year are going to be held monthly and at a different venue each month.

December
Wednesday 16 December – Social night at Brewery Bar and Restaurant, on the Taranaki Street Wharf at the end of Taranaki Street, ph 381 2282, [www.thebrewerybar.co.nz] - any time from 5.45 p.m.

Sunday 20 December - Breakfast Ride to the Wairarapa - 8.30 a.m. departure from the southern end of the forecourt of Caltex Rimutaka, 1193 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt

Trips
2010 South Island Tour Dates Friday 19 March (evening sailing) to Sunday 28 March 2010 (Easter will be 2 to 5 April) – 8 day tour of the best roads and mountain passes. Please contact Glenn who is organising. It would be great to book early to get some good deals on accommodation and meals. We’ll be making this trip as economical as possible and it will be run at a relaxed pace.
